A free writing competition with a healthy eating twist! 🥦🧀🍎

Picture this: a classroom buzzing with excitement, young minds ignited with creativity, and the aroma of imagination filling the air. In Partnership with the lovely team at Booths supermarkets we are on a mission to inspire the next generation of writers, and this time, we're delving into the world of healthy eating. Our fun, free writing competition for Key Stage 2 pupils in the UK will inspire brilliant writing, encourage healthy eating and give them a chance to win some awesome prizes! We can't wait for you and your students to be a part of it!Pobble + Booths

Booths bring you the best food and drink in 27 stores across North West England, Pobble is delighted to be working in partnership with Booths to educate young minds about eating healthy foods.

What's it all about?

By incorporating the theme of healthy eating into our writing competition, we aim to empower young minds with knowledge that lasts a lifetime. Your class will create an exciting story that promotes healthy eating. A great story needs all the right ingredients. It needs an exciting setting, a powerful main character and a problem that needs solving. To help, we've created some ideas for each of these for them. All your class have to do is...

Choose a setting:

1-Nov-16-2023-04-22-53-9446-PMChoose a main character:

2-Nov-16-2023-04-22-53-9386-PMChoose a problem that needs solving:

3-Nov-16-2023-04-22-53-9048-PM

Once they've chosen which they'd like to include in their story, use our prompts to spark their imaginations then encourage your class to pick up their pencils and get writing!  💡📝 You can access all of these ideas in our free lesson plan. It's got all the 'write' ingredients to help your class produce an incredible piece of writing.

By writing on a healthy eating theme, you're not just fostering creativity; you're also imparting valuable lessons about the importance of making nutritious choices—a lesson that goes beyond the classroom.

How does it work?

In your class you can run an exciting healthy eating lesson, using our free 'All the Write Ingredients' resources. Then, you and your students can select up to three of your pupils' stories to be entered into our competition. Winning work might be chosen because it is original, funny, inspiring or simply the best piece of work that pupils has ever produced.

Teachers then submit their chosen pieces by sharing a photo of the writing with us via social media, (simply grab a snap and tag Pobble and Booths), easily uploading them to the Pobble platform, turning your writers into published authors and celebrating their creativity with Pobble's Worldwide audience, or emailing them to us at hello@pobble.com. A real purpose to write! The ultimate reward comes when, on top of that, they have the chance to win great prizes!
