It’s no secret the teaching is a tiring, and often somewhat thankless job – the hours are long, the list of challenges seemingly endless, and the stakes high. So how do you keep morale up, and continue developing as an educator, when the odds can feel stacked against against you?

We’ve been inspired by the work of David Weston for a while now, and today we’re bringing you his TED talk, entitled “Unleashing Greatness in Teachers.” Weston is the chief executive of the Teacher Development Trust, and a former classroom instructor himself. Here, he discusses how to stay creative in lesson planning, and combat exam fatigue.
